Both our shops hold CRA (collision repair
association) quality assurance accreditation, there are only a handful
of panel shops in New Zealand to hold this standard, and in 2008 our
principle facility won the CRA “shop of the year” which was a great
reward for the dedication and hard work we’ve put in over the years to
raise the bar within the industry on issues like quality.
Team building is also an essential component at APP, every one of our
employee’s understands the importance of their role and the comradery
between the staff is clearly visible as you walk through any of our
shops. All our staff on the floor adhere to a process we call ‘The 5
minute rule’ in which every employee has 5 minutes at the end of each
process to double check all the work they have done for any defects or
missing components that might affect the next process, as a result we
very rarely have any rework or setbacks in a job. Finally, we have a
very social atmosphere and regularly engage in fun out of work
activities which results in a culture of an extremely high level of
understanding and communication between staff, this ultimately creates
a work place where everyone is determined to produce the best work they
can in each process to make the next person's process as smooth as
possible. The end result is a customer that receives a job that has
been truly cared for from start to finish and we enjoy a level of
quality that is beyond reproach within the industry.
